 The state of Pennsylvania has more motorcycle history in its little finger than most states have

  in their entire hand. Even today, it’s one of the states with the heaviest roster of registered

  motorcycles in the country. I rode through Pennsylvania several times many years back. The

  majority of the roads and highways I traveled on were the worst I’ve ever seen in the United

  States. Potholes and poorly maintained road surfaces made it a challenge to get all the way across

  the state without breaking a suspension component.
