Chupa Mi Rueda 9/2009

Bigger is better, at least that’s what I hear. Maybe it is and maybe it isn’t, but Paul Yaffe loves his big-wheel Bagger. Its 26” front wheel has enough mass to add a great deal of directional stability at highway speeds to the motorcycle named Chupa Mi Rueda pictured here. It also gets plenty of looks wherever Paul rides it. "Chupa Mi Rueda," translated to English is, “suck my wheel.” Maybe I should not have made the translation.

This large diameter wheel is the first of the newest production wheel from Metal Sport. The 26” five-spoke, show chromed wheel wrapped with a V-Rubber tire is the perfect flashy component for Paul Yaffe’s desert brown Bagger. Don’t let it distract you from the paint job though. This Bagger sports a cigarette smoking, Pendleton wearing Chihuahua mural on the left side of the inner fairing, and sombrero wearing skeleton with crossed pistols on the right. The murals and pin striping were applied by Gary Crisp of Crisp Creations over the red oxide primer base.
