Gear Jammer 10/2009
John Dean, COO of Klock Werks, built this Bagger as the company mule to test and fit new products and accessories. Test riding new products on a custom motorcycle is a job many would like to have. Starting life as an ’06 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide, this Bagger has reached the point where very few of its stock parts are still in place.
Gear Jammer’s PPG House of Kolor Kandy paint scheme was applied by Steel Vision Design artisans, including the brilliant gold leaf. Continuous graphics all the way across the windshield show off the craftsmanship of the Steel Vision Design crew.
Quigley Motor Werks overhauled the original Harley-Davidson Twin Cam 88” motor into the 95” power plant that it is today. A Crossroads Performance Maliair air cleaner with a Devonator crankcase breather mount provides low restriction on the intake side. A Klock Werks Double Back Header and WFB slip-ons helps her exhale. S&S 510 G gear-drive cams keep the valves jumping. Pushrods and lifters are Screamin’ Eagle components. A ThunderMax self-teaching ECU keeps the motor dialed in 24/7 under all riding and atmospheric conditions. Kendall Johnson ported and polished the cylinder heads. This 95” motor now makes 102 rear wheel ponies.
