Showtime 11/2009
Phoenix, AZ is one of the hottest places in the country, and John Shope, owner and operator of Sinister Industries is building some of the hottest custom Baggers around. The silver-streak Street Glide named Showtime has enough ponies to spin the tire with a flick of the wrist, and it’s quite a site when smoke is blowing out from under that rear fender. Paint and graphics were done by Jim Michaud and Shawn “Air Tight”.
Showtime’s 96” Twin Cam motor has had S&S Cycle’s 510C cams installed (the new chain-drive kit), a Power Commander ECU, and SuperTrapp exhaust to elicit that 100 horsepower number.
John cut and raked the neck of the stock ’09 frame to 48°. The fork came from Bike Builders. Up front is a 23” Swiss Cheese SMT wheel with a 130/60-23 Avon tire. The solid rear wheel is of the more conventional 16” variety. The rear tire is a 200mm unit from Avon.
