Diva Glide 11/2009
Being a diva requires certain behaviors. Amy Skaling is the devout diva type, as evidenced by her astoundingly bright Diva Glide Bagger. The Diva Glide began its life as an ’07 Harley-Davidson Road Glide, and is easily recognized as such when the sun is below the horizon. When the sun is above the horizon sunglasses are required to get a good look at this motorcycle.
Amy opted to keep the drivetrain and other running gear stock, while she concentrated on designing the sparkle with help from Kelly & Son Crazy Painters in Bellflower, CA. Paul Yaffe did the assembly and fabrication work. He was probably wearing welding goggles throughout the project. How and why does she sparkle? Probably from the addition of hundreds of Swarovski crystals. Of course the Elvis belt buckle on the bike and on the belt of Diva Amy enhances the glow. This is a motorcycle that is fun to look at, with the appropriate eyewear of course.
