Dry Formula 1/2010

Dave Bell is the owner/operator of Capitol Harley-Davidson in Dimondale, MI and a long-time motorcycle rider. Dave builds several bikes every year in conjunction with the dealership. He also rides these motorcycles every chance he gets. Dave is also a long-time Hamster motorcycle club member and is always trying to one-up the other guys with outstanding paint and lots of horsepower.

  

Dry Formula is a ’09 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide from Capitol’s stock inventory. After Dave got a hold of the Bagger, he subjected it to a very attractive paint design from the crew at Heavy Metal.

 

Capitol H-D performed the motor work on Dry Formula. It now displaces 113”. The case spigots were bored by North Bay Marine, who also performed the dynamic balancing prior to final assembly. A Screamin’ Eagle Race Tuner along with a 10.5:1 compression ratio results in 120 rear wheel horsepower.
